The largest sheepshead tournament in the world. The El Cheapo has become one of the largest fishing tournaments in Florida. Having 4 divisions (Boat, Kayak, Womens, and Kids) means there is something for everyone. This tournament has grown year after year. They have had upwards of 450 teams trying their luck at landing the next monster sheepshead. This low cost tournament will not break the bank. It will make for one weekend of fun.

 

The El Cheapo is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Jacksonville Offshore Sport Fishing Club, (JOSFC). The money raised from the event will be used for various activities throughout the year that our club facilitates, including artificial reef management, educational, boating, and safety seminars.

The JOSFC is a 501(c)(7) non-profit organization. The JOSFC is a 501(c)(7) non-profit organization. Portions of the proceeds of this year’s event will be donated to Angelwood, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit that serves children, adults, seniors and families living with intellectual and developmental differences in the Jacksonville area. Angelwood has been serving our community in a big way since 1993.
